To qualify as a peer mentor in the StandOUT Youth Mentoring Program INC,
candidates must meet the following requirements:

Age: 16-22 years of age.

Academic standing: Mentors in high school or pursuing higher education must maintain a
minimum GPA of 3.0.

Disciplinary record: No outstanding disciplinary issues at school or in the community.

Time commitment: 2 hours per week. (Tuesday 5PM – 7PM at the MI3 Center)

Background check: Anyone over the age of 18 must pass a background check.
